All Around The World – A VG Christmas Collaboration Project
Hello, everybody. For those who know or don't know, I'm DJ MAX-E, the administrator and Leader of the Project. Please take the time to read everything below.
DESCRIPTION
The project is going to be based on video game tunes being turned into a Christmas song / Original Christmas songs with video game sound effects. We’ll have producers like me, DJ MAX-E, Asis Galvin, AEmceeMuzik, etc., producing beats for the Christmas project. There will be singing, rapping, nostalgic video game sounds traveling in your ears and much much more. This project should allow every gamer and non-gamer to feel the Christmas spirit and just be motivated by this project created for all of us.
PRODUCERS
Choose your favorite game, pick a song from your favorite game & remix or sample it. You pick the genre and you pick the sounds, so anything goes just as long as you turn that song into a Christmas tune. One rule, be original, and nothing more.
VOCALISTS & RAPPERS
If you’re a vocalist/rapper and want to collaborate with any of the producers, let them know first before anything else. It’s a collaboration project so you have the creative freedom to what you want desired just like the producers. Lyrical wise, keep it clean, funny, catchy, motivational, whatever floats your boat. Or you can choose a Christmas song that already exists. Be original, be yourself, and again, just keep it clean, and everything will be fine.
POETS
(Thanks to TWE for this) If your a poet and want to collaborate with anybody here, vocalist or producer, share your ideas with each other, and make your poems unforgettable =P
TRACKS
The amounts of tracks are TBA at the moment. All I can say is, the more tracks, the merrier. The first track will be based off people just recording their voices, introducing themselves as DJ/Singer/Rapper and talking about what Christmas means to them and what was their favorite Christmas moment, and just wishing merry Christmas. Beat will be created by yours truly, DJ MAX-E.
DEADLINE
November 1st, 2010 – December 23rd, 2010
It will be a 2-month project in the making. Reason for this long is because we all know that we have other stuff doing as in school work and midterms and all that. So no pressure people =D.
